Blogging instructions.
As the first blog for this class, I feel that some ground rules need to be covered. When you create comments for our class blogs, you will be able to share your thoughts and opinions with your classmates. It is cool to see what others think and where you fit into the discusssion. I will also be reading these blogs. Comments with inappropriate language or discussion will be deleted.

1) Hurley is funny, friendly, and always wants to help but ends up running into trouble.
ReplyDelete2) Hurley was in Australia because his dying grandmother requested for him to visit her. She left him everything she had, including her mansion and riches. Before the crash, Hurley was poor and his parents cast him off because he was too old to keep living with them. He has a problem with his weight and pushes through that by being funny and good-natured towards people. Hurley is always willing to do anything to take the worries off of his fellow crashmates' shoulders.

2.From philadelphia, was on the plane coming from a major heart operation. Has one child and a wife. Was leaving australia because the operation was over and his wife would soon be having their second child.

ReplyDelete2. Jack is a doctor, he is on his way home from austrailia where he went to take classes on spinal surgeries. He is very close with his family and was very close with his dad before he passed away, his dad gave him good advice and encouraged him to succeed in life. Jack also had a wife and a son.

ReplyDelete2. Charlie was in a Band, out of England. He was on a world tour. He was leaving Australia for his start of the tour in the United States. He was a lonely man, with no wife, or girlfriend. All of his family was in England, the only thing he turned to was his drugs.
Jack:
ReplyDeleteJack is a spinal surgeon who has learned to be a leader through various surguries he has performeed. Hes fit, athletic, inteligent and fearless.
Jack is a spinal surgeon with 3 years experience and hundreds of surguries under his belt. He's very athletic and invlolved in his job in every way possible. Soon after his first few surgeries he became very well known and trusted by hospitals across the world.He started traveling world wide as one of the best. He had flown to Australia just a few days before the crash to operate on a paralized teen. After a successful surgery he was flying back to his house in Florida for work on Monday when the plane crashed.

Charlie:
ReplyDeleteCharlie is a humorous, paranoid, heroin addict. He has no real job.
He is from Australia. He was going the United States to go to rehab. He had to go in order to get a job as a mechanic. He struggles with his addiction daily. Charlie also has issues with his family. They abandoned him when he was young so he turned to drugs.While on the plane, he was getting paranoid with the flight attendants. He wanted to get his last fix before they landed.
1) Kate is a small and skinny. She is also pretty. She is smart,brave, and kind. She helped Jack sow up his wound and went on the hike to find the transever.She always ended up in a bad situation during the pilot.
ReplyDelete2) Kate was in Australia for murder. She was heading back to the states to be sentenced to death. Luckily, she is still alive, but we dont know how long everyone will be alive. Before this incident, Kate was in jail waiting her trial. Her family is a upper-class family. The only problem is she hasnt talked to her family in 3 months. Their communication is weak. Kate gets along well with most people;however, some tick her off! She will put anything on the line for people she cares about.
1.Claire is a to-be single mom who's 8 months pregnant and probably shouldnt have been flying. She's very smart and resourceful and befriends Hurley.
ReplyDelete2. Claire is a single mom who went to Australia after the father of her baby. She told him she was pregnant when she found out and he left so she has followed him wherever he's gone and couldn't find him. Someone told her he was in Australia so she got on a plane and followed him. When she got there she couldn't find him so she got on the Oceanic Flight 815 to go home.

He is a very good provider, and puts his family first.Jack is the owner of a famous hospital back in LA, california. He is famous around the would and wishs he could help deliver his first child.

2) Jack was on his way home from doing a very difficult spinal procedure on a young man. Jack was able to re-arrange his spine so that the boy can now stand up again. Jack was the first doctor in the world to successfully complete this complicated surgery, and is now considered the best spinal doctor in the world! He took this flight to get back to the U.S. before his next surgery was supposed to take place, but as you can tell that probably wont happen. Back home Jack has two young kids and a nice wife.
Hurley:
ReplyDelete1. Hurley is a kind, caring person who would do anything for anyone who is in need. He has curly hair, is overweight, and looks like he is in his late 20's.
2. Because Hurley is a great artist, he was sent to Australia to display his artwork. His family and friends were so proud. At the show, Hurley was so excited because his work made a lot of money. He couldn't wait to tell his family and friends. On his way home, Hurley encountered a horrible plane crash.
Charlie

2) Charlie was touring with his band in Australia. He was notified that his father had gotten sick. His family has had a past with death and sicknesses. That is the reason he turned to drugs, to cope with the stress. He immediatley boarded a plane to America, and from there he was going to take a plane to England.
Hurly was a profesional eater. He was on the the flight back to america after being in one of the most famous eating contest of all time the australin eat off. Hurly won first place and was heading back to america to celibrate with his friends. He got on the flight hopeing for a peaceful ride back to the states. It was at first. Thats when Hurly herd the sounds of the and it riped apart.

ReplyDelete2.Jack was a doctor before the crash. He probably had the life he wanted. Making really good money etc. he was probably headed on back home from a business trip. I can see him with a family an kids mybe divorced but has kids.
